Book 1:
Things got a little spicy at the end of the series, Straight Outta Dade County. So much so, that the characters introduced in that series, along with the ones we’ve grown to know, needed their own story. In Straight Outta Dade County, something started between Bria Robinson and Efrem ‘Pee- Wee’ Jackson, and with the proper time and care, it might be able to go somewhere. Bria is a beautiful young law student with big dreams and even bigger demons. The same day her mother brought her into this world was the day her mother lost her life. That tragedy forced Bria to be raised by her aunt and eventually her grandmother, where she experienced traumatic events that have haunted her into adulthood. With all the hurt and pain Bria has been through in her life, the last thing she needs is for someone to come along and damage her even further. Can Pee-Wee be the man to give her the love she needs? Pee-Wee is a handsome young man who has probably been with every chick in Miami. He’s young, getting money, and has never been willing to settle down before, but can he change his ways for Bria?
Then, there’s Dace Jackson, the older brother of Pee-Wee, who has relationship issues of his own. Dace is charming. With one smile and a compliment, he can get any woman to do anything he wants. Dace gets around Miami with women, but somehow, he always finds his way back to Duchess, the beautiful nurse who doesn’t take any crap. She’s a strong, independent woman, but we all have our weaknesses, and hers happens to be Dace. The two of them are deeply in love, but they can’t seem to get it right. As much as Dace loves Duchess, he knows she deserves better. Duchess must decide whether to wait for Dace to grow up or leave him to find her own happiness.
Another couple that we know a lot about already is Orion and Kelsey. They always come with the drama. After all the torture, neglect, and disrespect that Kelsey has endured at the hands of her husband, she has moved on and reunited with her first love. Things move fast between the old lovers, and before long, Kelsey finds herself still married but carrying another man’s child. We all know Orion’s character and how much he loves Kelsey. He has no plans to sign any divorce papers, and he just wants to make their marriage work, but there doesn’t seem to be any hope.
Part one of this rollercoaster ride of a series will have you glued to the pages. Relationships are tested, enemies come out left and right, and drama continues to unfold. Every relationship is different, but with what each couple is battling, they’ll all end up sporting the same gray hair in the end because their issues aren’t light, and they seem to have no end.
Book 2:
Part two of the Who Do You Luv? series picks up exactly where part one left off. By this point in the series, we’ve become thoroughly acquainted with each character. From the looks of things, Bria and Pee-Wee could have something beautiful if Bria would just believe that she deserves love and accept the love Pee-Wee is willing to give her.
Then, there’s Duchess and Dace. Duchess up and moved to Houston, but she left Miami with a big secret that she has yet to fill Dace in on. I just hope she’s prepared for what will come from hiding that life-changing information.
Lastly, there’s Kelsey. Kelsey has moved on and is expecting a new baby with her boyfriend, Omelly. As happy as they are, co-parenting between Kelsey and her ex- husband, Orion, brings unnecessary stress.
Take a ride with these lovers and step into their lives. It’s bound to take you on an emotional journey as each couple goes through their fair share of drama, complications, and battles with their tests and trials.
Book 3:
The finale has finally come. After everything that has transpired, we will get to see how it all ends. One of the things that’s been long overdue to witness unfold is for Bria to get the chance to meet her father, along with his side of the family, and find out the truth, since she’s pretty much been lied to her entire life about her father.
Next, there’s Dace and Duchess. These two have been through hell and high water together, and it would be a beautiful thing if they could get it right. Their expecting a baby together, that will hopefully bring out the maturity in both of them, and finally get the two of them to finally get it right.
This has been a long ride, filled with so many different emotions. We’ve watched relationships be broken, family has been pulled apart, there’s been lies, deceit, and many tears, but we’re finally to the end of the ropes, and everyone is entitled to getting the ending that they deserve.
