Book 1:
Antonia Taylor had been living in hell since day one. At the tender age of six, she lost both of her parents and was forced to move in with her aunt from hell, along with her aunt’s four other children. Antonia is a senior in high school, attending Miami Northwestern. While the other students may be coming to school, sporting new clothes and new shoes, Antonia is always sporting new bruises on her body because at home, she is her aunts punching bag, getting whipped for any little thing she does.
Jahiem Carter is the hood’s finest tattoo artist and quite the ladies’ man. With all of the bruises on Antonia’s body and her messed up lifestyle, Jahiem sees a beautiful girl who’s just been dealt some bad cards in life and wants to get to know her as a friend but he can’t help the physical attraction between the two.
Join this little Miami girl as she deals with problems that no teenager should have to endure. Will Antonia be able to handle all of these problems by herself? Or will Jahiem be there to help her get through this thing called life?
Book 2:
Lies, betrayal, deceit all takes place in the second installment of Little Miami girl. We just finished getting a glimpse inside of the types of things that Antonia had to endure over the course of years. It all led up to that final night, with Porsha catching Rick in Antonia’s room. Even with Porsha on Antonia’s side, letting her aunt know that Rick is a sick pervert that likes to mess with younger girls, will that be enough for Antonia’s aunt? Will Antonia’s aunt for once in her life believe something that Antonia is confessing?
A truce that had been made years ago, was promised to never speak up on again. But what happens when Antonia is left with no choice to finally confess to a secret that she has been holding onto for all of these years? Will Jahiem be so forgiving towards her? Or will he just get to the point of being fed up with Antonia and all of her deep, dark secrets?
Book 3:
In the finale of Little Miami Girl, all secrets will finally come to the light for good. Antonia is no longer the timid and soft speaker that she used to be. She now has a voice and she isn’t taking any prisoners this time around. Her and Jahiem are still being thrown curve after curve but they are still managing to build this union that they have their minds set on.
This book will make you laugh, smile, but most of all, it will make you cry because not everybody in this book will make it out alive this time around. Take one last ride with Antonia and let’s just hope that she’s one of the ones that will continue standing in the end.
